Stagecoach is dedicated to providing quality education in the performing arts that is complimentary to, yet independent of, normal academic studies. In addition to preparing students for a performing career, Stagecoach is equally beneficial in developing confidence, articulation, communication skills, imaginative thought, poise and other life skills.
The weekly training is for a three hour period during which time students attend classes in dance, drama and singing. The school year is 37 weeks long and is divided into three terms running concurrently with the normal academic year.
Full Stagecoach training is offered to children and teenagers aged 7-16. Students work in age groups and follow the successful format developed by its founder. Class sizes are restricted to 15 students (up to a maximum of 17) and each school has a minimum of three teachers and a Principal. The high ratio of staff to students is one of the keystones of Stagecoach's success.
